Dear Friends and Colleagues:

On behalf of the melanoma organizing committee I am honored to invite you to attend and participate in the 23rd International Pigment Cell (IPCC) Conference August 26 thru August 30, 2017 in Denver, Colorado.

It has been a key international event for the members of the IFPCS since 1946. The IPCC attracts researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals from all over the world and is an ideal platform for delegates to develop and foster close collaborations and for the exchange of knowledge.

Key players in the field of melanocyte and melanoma research have been invited to present their newest and most innovative work on topics ranging from melanocyte development to immune biologic and targeted melanoma therapy. It will be an excellent opportunity to get updated as well as an international perspective of one the most rapidly advancing fields of research. I encourage you to submit your work for presentations as oral or poster presentations.

Apart from the science, late summer is an excellent time of the year to visit Colorado. Denver is a beautiful city bustling with energy. The meeting will be in the heart of downtown Denver with many sightseeing, cultural and dining options available before and after the conference. Downtown Denver has direct rail access to Denver International Airport (train to plane), one of the top airports in the world. The Rocky Mountains are a short scenic drive away and provide many recreational opportunities including a national park.

I look forward to seeing you in Denver.

Dr. Rene Gonzales
